XR-NET sync provides secure connection between two equal-access XR locations by a dedicated line or Internet. This connection works across a so-called multi-server operation. Using automatic data replication, the data are automatically matched between the locations several times daily. Depending on the bandwidth of the connection, the data comparison can also be performed on a permanent basis. The benefit of this solution is that you can use the full functional scope and high performance of our XR-RIS & PACS products at individual locations.
Examples of application are e.g. the parallel operation between and old and new locations during a change of location, or the case of 2 or more locations where a common database is required (e.g. the CT device is further along the road in another building).
remote access with XR-NET case
XR-NET case provides cooperation between two or more locations. This communication is performed by means of a client server system. XR-NET case treats one the locations as preferred (main location, head office = server) At this location, a complete infrastructure is used. At the other locations (secondary location, branch office = client (only clients are operated and connected with the primary location. Data matching is performed selectively and is event-dependent.
The benefit of this solution is that direct access is provided to the data, as well as the comparatively low acquisition costs. Disadvantages are the partially lower performance at the secondary locations and the partial functional limitation.
