XR-NET transfer is intended to provide referring facilities rapidly and reliably with images and findings reports. XR-NET retrieve facilitates the accessing of images and findings reports from external medical archives.
direct image transmission with XR-NET transfer
Directly after findings report preparation, the images are transmitted directly and completely automatically and are available to your referring physician for a second opinion.
Image studies can be transmitted at a faster rate in JPEG format, depending on bandwidth; albeit dissipated. The recipient can then view the images with a simple web browser. On the other hand, complete studies can be transmitted to your referring facilities without any loss of quality by using ISDN, ADSL, telecable or glass fibre network. The DICOM standard thus assures the compatibility of all participating communicating partners.

electronic transmission of findings reports with XR-NET transfer
With XR-NET, findings can be transmitted in electronic form by fax, E-mail or mailbox systems (MedicalNet -HCS / Dame - Telekom). Electronic evaluation transmission is performed on the basis of the referring physician data authored in XR-RIS manage and the preferred method of transmission by the referring physician.
The transmission of the final findings reports takes place fully automatically without the need for further input of the fax number or E-mail address. Concurrent transmission to more than one referring physician is easily administered. Findings that have not yet been released or validated are automatically blocked.
Intra and extramural data exchange
XR-NET transfer / retrieve also permits connection to external medical archives and data networks. Thus you can send your image and findings data to a central archive, whether it is a question of transmitting your whole archive, exchanging data with others or of receiving them from an external source.
The XR-NET transfer / retrieve product range is presently in use by the Austrian Wiener Krankenanstaltenverbundes (kav) association or the medical archive (marc) of the Steiermärkischen Krankenanstalten.
