XR-NET is the key technology for the realisation of possible efficiency increases and cost savings. In combination with XR-PACS, XR-NET offer you the feature of passing images and findings reports immediately after preparation directly to your referring physician, or providing them with Internet access.
With XR-NET and access facilities for referring physicians to patients' images and findings reports, documentation of examination on paper becomes a thing of the past. The transmission of images and findings reports is performed not by the patient, but over the data network and can be done much more quickly. The development of X-ray film thus only becomes necessary in special cases because of digital archiving and the electronic transmission of images.

All XR-NET products are MAGDALENA 2 compliant. We work in accordance with the strict security directives of the Austrian STRING Commission. External data access is performed via a dedicated gateway. This gateway is physically separated from your network and additionally protected by a firewall and anti-virus software. Data transfer is performed exclusively over SSDL and MPPE-encoded and authenticated connections.
Internet-based applications such as Internet image and findings viewing can only be performed by persons with access rights and their own password. Access rights and password allocation are allocated by you i.e. you determine who has access to the image and findings reports on your patients. All this means the highest level of protection from data misuse.
