With XR-PACS print & cd-rom, the dream of filmless radiology becomes a reality. XR-PACS print & cd-rom is an extremely flexible image documentation software program.
filmless radiology using paper documentation
XR-PACS print offers all the benefits of filmless radiology: reduction in the cost of films because of selective filming, paper documentation and/or laser print. The development of X-ray film thus only becomes necessary in special cases, because of digital archiving of the images and the facility of transmitting these to the referring physician.
With XR-PACS print, you can perform selective filming. You are extremely flexible in your choice of printing system. The DICOM printing function available facilitates documentation on paper printers in B/W and colour, to A4 or A3 formats. Furthermore, you can select from several print variations: portrait or landscape format, variable image number, enlarged printouts, with or without black borders etc.
Using XR-PACS print, film can also be transferred to all conventional printers such as e.g. Kodak, Agfa, and Fuji etc.

filmless radiology by means of CD-ROM production
XR-PACS cd-rom offers the facility of releasing the images and findings reports of patients on CD-ROM. The CD-ROMS are fully-automatically labelled and for example marked with the patient's name, date of birth and examination and address of the practice in your customised design.
Apart from the images in JPEG & DICOM formats, the CD-ROM also contains our viewing software program XR-PACS vision. Thus both your referring physicians and patients have the possibility of viewing the images quickly and simply, either using an Internet browser or by using the Viewer that is contained on the CD. No additional software needs to be installed.
A great advantage of XR-PACS cd-rom is that production is modality-independent. If several examinations were performed upon a patient, all images of the current visit, the findings and - if required - the images of previous examinations can be burned to the CD-ROM.
XR-PACS cd-rom can burn up to 100 CD-ROMs automatically in sequence. There is also the facility of acute flagging contained in XR-RIS manage, so that CD-ROM generation of certain patients can be prioritised. If XR-PACS cd-rom is not used as part of XR-PACS archive, it can also be used as a standalone product.
