XR-PACS brings the vision of filmless radiology into reality. XR-PACS is an extremely favourable and scalable digital image archive. XR-PACS is the optimal support for every radiologist who wishes to work without film and rationally.
your entry into filmless radiology
The XR-PACS product range is constructed on a modular basis. In this way, you can optimally select a solution to match your individual requirements and equipment. The full scope of the XR-PACS product range includes:
> XR-PACS archive workflow management / prefetching / digital DICOM image archive
> XR-PACS vison digital image findings report preparation / diagnostics workstation
> XR-PACS worklist / procedure RIS-PACS coupling / modalities work lists/ performed procedure step
> XR-PACS print / cd-rom Image Documentation on Paper, CD-ROM, DICOM Print
unified workflow management
XR-PACS offer you unified workflow within your radiology and assures support in archiving and allocating images. The sophisticated XR-PACS workflow management is therefore the most important foundation for realising possible increase of efficiency and cost saving.
XR-PACS administers the status information for examinations and images, is responsible for authoring the worklist editing of the various modalities, manages the image distribution within your X-rays, takes care of the archiving of images and prepares these for transmission where required.
Following registration, the patient's data appear on the worklist of the respective modality, previous studies are now loaded to findings reporting stations (prefetching). During findings reporting, the images can be called up using the same interface as previous finding reports and dictations.
integrated PACS
XR-PACS was conceived in order to be able to integrate all stages of radiology. It is the task of XR-PACS to intelligently link all available patient information by means of unified ordered concepts and to provide automated procedural control. Using XR-PACS in combination with XR-NET transfer/retrieve, connection to external medical archives and data networks is provided. (e.g. Austrian networks such as tera.archiv - Wr. Krankenanstalten Verbund / marc - Steiemärkische Krankenanstalten)
All of these tasks are carried out using DICOM 3.0 Standards (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine). This makes it possible to integrate all devices that support this standard.
All this means no more lost images, documentation that saves costs and material, findings reporting that is quality-assured because it is comparable and an improvement in diagnostic evidence possibilities.
