In the release/transmit function of XR-RIS manage, it is immediately visible how the completed findings reports are to be handled.
systematic findings report release
XR-RIS manage offers the facility of choosing the method of releasing findings reports. The method of release and time can be changed within all functions of XR-RIS manage.
Thus it becomes visible when releasing the findings reports whether e.g. the patient would prefer to collect them at a particular time or whether he/she would prefer to have them delivered by post. Once the method of release has been decided, XR-RIS manage automatically produces a so-called release list.
This serves for checking purposes in the case of postal dispatch and also helps to prevent misunderstandings in the case of findings reports that are to be collected. Patients can be easily selected by bar code and it is noted when, and by which person, the findings report will be collected.
electronic findings report transmission
XR-RIS manage provides rapid transmission of findings reports and images to referring facilities.
Final findings reports can be transmitted in electronic XR-NET by fax, E-mail or by mailbox systems (MedicalNet - HCS / Dame - Telekom). Electronic findings report dispatch is performed on the basis of the referring physician data authored in XR-RIS manage and the preferred method of transmission by the referring physician. Concurrent transmission to more than one referring physician is easily administered.

comfortable and secure
The transmission of the final findings reports takes place automatically without the need for further input of the fax number or E-mail address. The findings report to be transmitted does not have to be printed out but is transmitted directly from the computer to recipient's fax. Findings that have not yet been released or validated are automatically blocked.
A findings report can be either transmitted immediately or placed on the list to be sent. The list to be sent is intended to provide the facility of easily sending a large number of reports in bundled form, for example at a later juncture in the evening.
