The examination function of XR-RIS manage combines on one screen all the relevant data on the patient and the examinations to be carried out.
an overview of patient flow
Each patient runs through several stages. Wherever necessary, these are set automatically by XR-RIS manage, or noted by the clinical assistants and staff when they "process" the patients.
Status assignment can be performed at no further expense and is easily done by pressing a button. The standard stages supported by XR-RIS manage are:
Registered - Requested - Waiting - Present in room - Findings - Notes - Editing - Validated - Distributed
By means of an easily visible list, you therefore have a constant overview of the patient flow. It can, however, be viewed at any time where the patient is, who is attending to them, which examinations have been carried out, how long they have waited etc.
effective enquiry system
It helps you to avoid incorrect examination stage procedures, unnecessary telephone calls as well as unnecessary kilometres seeking patients within a practice.
Thus all can access a variety of sensible and important information. Whether it is an acute patient, whether and when the patient has an examination appointment, whether the patient will be ambulatory or require assistance, why the patient is attending (e.g. "as the result of a fall"), which room is currently occupied etc.
XR-RIS manage also offers the facility of using individual colour codes for your practice. Thus patients who, for example, are supposed to take their results with them immediately or who come from a certain referring physician can be flagged with a designated colour. In addition to that, individual sorting can be configured: acute patients given precedence to appointment patients, patients without appointments etc.

precise accounting
Additional services required (additional formats, amounts of contrast media) or other variations from standard procedure that take place within the course of an examination can be calculated directly during the examination. Justification for additional accounting entries can be provided.
This assures that additional services provided onsite are authored, thus preventing examinations being forgotten, and facilitates an exact calculation of services, as well as reliable and meaningful statistical evaluations.
