XR RIS timer submits to you on several successive examinations, independently, taking into account the suggested dates for exclusion and sequence analysis (eg, upper abdominal ultrasonography not after gastric X-ray, etc.). Even follow-up appointments after several weeks are also easy to administer.

For example, XR RIS timer prevents overbooking of the doctor-related investigations. With the appointment entry, the patient will automatically pre-registered in XR RIS timer and at the actual appearance of the patient you only have to insert the e-card and confirme the examination, which is a huge time saver.

Dates of patient arrivals are shown crossed out so that is always clear which patients are expected. Via a time-pop-up, you always have access to the next incoming patients. If a patient has canceled his appointment, postponed or forgotten, you can find with a simple patient search of XR RIS timer deleted events again. Thus the reason for the cancellation or postponement is readily apparent. XR RIS timer also offers you a waiting list to insert another patient in case of a date failure or a cancellation appointment.

As a special service, you can remind your patients via SMS to your examination appointment. The SMS sending is done automatically with a predefined text. Your patients will also have the opportunity to respond to SMS messages sent by you or postpone or cancel an appointment.

XR RIS timer is a planning tool specifically designed for radiology and can be used in X-ray, mammography and ultrasound, in the NUC or Osteoarea therapy as well as in CT or MRI operation.

With XR RIS timer, you can schedule appointments for as many examination rooms you need, and define opening times for each room individually and simultaneously consider the study period. To keep the effort for the planning as low as possible, this is done via the application of weeks templates that need to be adjusted only in case of divergence. Holidays are displayed too.

Particular interest in the resource planning of XR RIS timer is the possibility to create blocks for similar studies which can be summarized. During the appointment search, these blocks are considered to  reduce equipment setup times as much as possible (eg lying in the x-ray or MRI coil).

The appointment- and roomclassifications can be viewed on all PC workstations. The representation of the color-coded rooms can be on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The summaries can also be printed.

appointments via the Internet
XR RIS timer in connection with XR WEB access provides you the option to offer your referring doctors appointments via the Internet.

You are up 24 hours and 365 days a year for your patients and referring doctors. The Internet appointment will help you to reduce your telephone costs in the allocation of examination dates and improve your service to your patients and referring doctors.

You are responsible for what periods, dates and how many investigations you provide on the Internet. The referring doctor or the patient has no direct access to your calendar. There will only be offered the advanced, by you defined periods or date suggestions.

The Internet appointment can only be used by referring physicians with access authority and a private password. The booking of investigations are secured via an SSL &  MPPE encrypted and authenticated connection.

For patients, it´s only possible to register by giving their name, phone number, birth date and social security number (this is checked for plausibility) for a maximum of 6 studies.
